How does display in digital alarm clock work? I mean, is it like AMOLED (Active Matrix) or LED with constant backlit screen?

    "Reporting" has an accurate answer to all displays that give off light. That is because you tell nothing about some "digital alarm clock" like a picture, or brand and model number. Wasted question.

    Source(s): I remember the first "digital alarm clock" that had numbers on little flip pages that moved to next number every minute. Only light was to see the numbers at night. Then there was the one that had numbers on film as clear digits on black. It projected up to ceiling. The numbers ticked over every minute as a solenoid moved a drum of film with numbers.
