Once again nasa's plans to return astronauts to the moon is killed by congress?

president trump requested 1.6 billion $ for fy 2020 to fund project artemis which would have returned american astronauts to the moon by 2024. the house appropriations committee refused to approve the funds, effectively killing the project. administrator bridenstine today resigned over the congressional debacle.
