Many causes, family, friends and work that can bring about emotional numbness. I see it as a time of healing when you have had enough of the worlds B.S.
What helps is whatever you know to be stress relievers for yourself.
Such as soaking in the bath, going for a drive, getting a massage, taking a mini-vacation.
Getting good sleep helps a lot too.
I won’t take a bullet for anyone because if I have time to jump in front of a bullet, you have time to move.
