Has Queen Elizabeth II made an effort to improve the negative image of her great-great-great grandmother the Duchess of Kent?

who was Queen Victoria’s mother

Films about Queen Victoria have cast Queen Elizabeth II’s 3x great-grandmother, the Duchess of Kent, in a rather negative light. Can her public image be rehabilitated by the current Queen?

I very much doubt it. Why would she? No-one cares.

I bet we've all got an ancestor or two who wasn't a very nice person.

We're not responsible for what our distant relatives did hundreds of years ago.

No, she has no interest in doing that.

No. The Duchess's association with Conroy was seen as a bad thing at the time. If you only get your history from fictionalised films you won't get a very good understanding. Much like only getting your news from tabloids now.
