Why does an IPhone sound like a Minecraft door when you close it?

I usually don’t have my ringer on on my IPhone X but recently I turned it on during my spring break and realized when you closed an IPhone it sounds like when you close a door and Minecraft. This now brings up more questions such as who did it first and does apple or Minecraft have to pay a royalty every time that sound is made by their product?

I think you mean lock an iPhone, not close.

It may sound like that (to you) but that doesn't mean it is (I don't think it sounds even close).

Apple and Microsoft (owners of the Minecraft franchise) have no royalty agreement for anything like that concerning the lock sound on iPhones
