why have people stopped asking questions on YA?

peoples limitations are really angering me, im sat here with clenched teeth and feel like smashing something apart....im noticing in the question categories that the flow of questions has slowed down to a 'stop' - why? - whats the matter with people here? is that the best they can do?!!

i know yahoo answers is nothing like what it was with all the trolls here but why do people just stop asking questions and give up easy?

im so enraged about seeing that.

Because the site has become nothing more than a chance to be abused by sick, deranged, rude people, every time you ask a simple question.....so people have learned to ask less.....or have just simply left to avoid all the hate and abuse here.

What's left, are simply people still playing point games, for whatever it means to them.---and the sick trolls of course.

Thanks for the BA's. Yes, I should have mentioned that there ARE a few of us still left, who just like answering the questions, as asked. Hard to believe, but true.

They haven't, but yeah it's slower than it used to be. Fewer users because the poor management of the site and all the trolling/abuse ran off many quality users. Without more users taking action to report violations and get the site back on track, you can expect more of the same in the future.

A lot of people over the years have Left the Site Due to the Changes that Yahoo has been making

Its Also important to Note its a Holiday Weekend in the USA its Easter so there may be a Bit of a Lower Users Usage then Usual on a Weekend

Because we don't exist to post questions.

People are supposed to post questions they really need to know the correct answer about. Once a questions has been asked and correctly answered, it can be found by googling or doing an answers-search and there is no point in posting it again

Too many stupid trolls, not enough moderation. Many have left the site in disgust, especially after the holiday spambot headache. I'm surprised they have kept it open this long.

With experience and the explosion of information on the web, people have learned just to search the web for the answers themselves. Things that 5-10 years ago were not on the web, can easily now be found.

I stopped asking questions as they are continually being moved. Take that away from the Level 7 abusers and you may see an improvement.

Maybe people are getting smarter, and don't have questions.

You said it: trolls and apathy from yahoo. If the employees don’t care then why should we care.

In the past, all you need to do is send an email to yahoo with the trolls’ profile link, link to several violations, and an explanation. Within a few weeks, you’ll get a response that the trolls have their accounts suspended. If the trolls want to waste their time to make new accounts then so be it.

People left Yahoo because of trolls and bad community services, If you can't get more question, that's why your so angry but don't blame them cuz you barely answer a question and never contribute at all.
