Why does Petr Cech wear that headgear all the time?

  • To protect his head against possible concussion. It's just neoprene (he uses a rugby scrum-cap) with a soft shell; it's not like he's wearing body armour.

    Hes worn it ever since he got that head injury years ago.He wears it for head protection.

    It's apparently cos of a head injury, but that was years ago. More likely to be a fashion statement these days.
