What's the difference between a good friend, a close friend, and a best friend?

How do you define them personally?

For me a good friend is most important; as they will speak truth to me, even when they know I am in error. It takes so much courage to do this; and it keeps the friendship real. Friends are friends, and we love them all. True Friends stay forever in our hearts; because they come packaged with wisdom impossible to forget no matter what distances come.

A best friend is someone who you see a lot and talk to a lot and is always there for you.

a close friend is about the same but you do not see them quite as much.

a good friend is about the same too.

expect they are not someone you trust as much as lets say a best friend.

basically, a bff is someone you always can count on and will be there for you any time you want them too.

    I don't.

    People are as people are.

And no matter what label you slap on them, things change. And even the best of friends will sometimes have needs that keep them from attending to what YOU need.

    I wouldn't know, I don't have any friends.
