Is it scary to be in love?

Yes it can be- sometimes it’s also confusing and upsetting but it’s mosyly great.

I don't know that I've ever been "in love", but I've been crazy infatuated with people before.
I feel like when you feel that way you're just in total bliss without any regard for a lot of other negative things. It's like when you first fall in love (or anything close to it I guess) that person is everything to you. Generally, most people don't worry so much about the scary things when they're actually at that point. But if you were to name the scary things...

I would say the only scary things about it are:

1. If you're codependent, realizing that your entire life revolves around them and being terrified of losing them bc you feel you have nothing without them (shouldn't be the case in a healthy relationship)

2. Having it be a new feeling and it being scary how much they mean to you and how much you think about them and like them. Like **** what's happening to me??

3. It's easy to be scared of getting hurt if you have had serious feelings for people before and your feelings are super strong and you're worried he/she/they might break your heart.
