Yes...I would just put it in the bank and live off the interest.

How are you going to live of $2.00 a month?

No,unless you meant to type much larger number?

Even if it was 250,000, I would quit full time, but just do part time or volunteer so my CV will not have blank years. Because incase all my money goes, going back to full time will not be difficult as I will not be trying to explain why years I was unemployed, instead volunteering or part time will cover this.

you can't live long on $2500

  • Add a few more zeros onto that and maybe.

I would pay off my credit card and take a vacation with it.

$2500 per week for the rest of my life? That's over $120k a year, which would certainly be enough to allow me to quit my job. Except that I love my job, so I would not be in a hurry to quit. I'd rather keep working and invest the winnings, then retire early. But just $2500? Not nearly enough to quit, and not even enough to take my family on a nice vacation.

That would not even cover half of our monthly expenses. It wouldn't go far at all.

No. That's around one week of pay. Add three zeroes to that number and I would.
