You need to change the negative thought patterns than come with having social anxiety. Laugh at yourself in social situations, smile at other people, focus on what they’re wearing, saying and doing so you don’t become insular and self conscious. After every social interaction write down three things you did well, and one you need to improve on. Do something to really push yourself out of your comfort zone (even if they seem small to other people) volunteer and answer in class, ask a stranger for directions, make chit chat with an elderly person on the bus, volunteer at an animal shelter. Build up your confidence so you have it stored up. Find like minded people who you can open up to and will be accepting of your condition. Get free CBT or group therapy with social anxiety. You can handle this condition, it doesn’t have to ruin your life. Good luck.
