Is air resistance constant?
For a small object in a 2 meter free fall.

No, resistance increases exponentially with speed.
If a heavier object fell further, the resistance would increase until it equals the force of gravity acting on it, and it would then have reached terminal velocity, and would continue falling at a constant speed instead of accelerating.
A feather can reach terminal velocity even in just a 2 metre drop.
