Depends on the woman I believe..
Depends on the type of guy he is as well.
Beauty, yes, is subjective, BUT to try and answer your question from my point a view, (a female)..
I think that a woman who is stunningly most commonly amongst MOST people in society that has Striking features (beautiful) -
Those women can actually have it more ROUGH (I believe) in a sense..
Yes, being a beautiful woman, I feel you would gain more ATTENTION from the opposite sex (and same sex as well).. BUT, most AVERAGE people (looks wise) are INTIMIDATED by an EXTREMELY strikingly beautiful woman, (this can go for a man as well)..
So, this can very well end up spiking UP the man's insecurity (he feels as though she is TOO good for him - despite the fact that SHE really DOES like him and views HIM as an equal) - thus, this can lead to the man taking advantage of the woman and can also result in emotional/physical as well as mental abuse.
(SOME - not ALL) Men will be intimidated by a beautiful woman if the man HIMSELF suffers with insecurity issues within himself. This feeling of being "less than" the beautiful woman can cause the man to feel, again, INSECURE and he can try and make the woman feel insecure as well.... this can lead to abusive, TOXIC relationships.
Most average looking men (and woman, again, goes vice versa) - will 80% of the time feel more comfortable and content with a maybe PRETTY but not BEAUTIFUL woman because the chances of the more attractive woman cheating, being unfaithful, increases. An average looking man will feel more SECURE (depends on the man himself and his insecurity issues), with a female who is average and on the same level of attractiveness as himself.
That is my theory.
