    1. ∅∈{1,2,3}

    False.The elements of that set are 1, 2 and 3. ∅ is NOT an *element* of that set, although it is a subset of every set.

    2. ℕ⊆ℤ

    True. Every natural number {1, 2, 3, ...} is an element of the set of integers {..., -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ...}. So N is a proper subset of Z.

    ∅ ⊂ {1,2,3}

    ∅ ∉ {1,2,3}

    ℕ⊆ℤ also ℕ⊂ℤ
