What if Ben Carson ran as the Republican Candidate against Barack Obama in 2012? Would he have destroyed him in the election results?

The liberals screwed themselves in 2008 by putting both a female and black at the same time. If clinton would have won in 2008 and obama ran in 2016, slam dunk. But the libs want to please all of their people at the same time and that causes problems like trump winning.

If trump won against clinton, the republicans would have steamrolled with any of the other candidates. The republicans were going to win no matter what is what I'm saying.

those electoral votes which won the race, the people who voted heavily Republican in the states and counties will likely still have won, it merely insured the Republican candidate would win, I doubt if Ben Carson would have won the nomination at the party's candidate however

He may have inspired more turnout than Romney but if he won it still would have been close . Racist denocrats would not like a black man that thinks for himself they may have turned out even stronger

Albeit I believe Dr. Carson was the better qualified POTUS candidate than Obama; black racist politics at the polls would simply lead Obama to re-election, because black racists viewed Dr. Carson as being the "whitest black man in politics".

Dr. Carson simply didn't appeal to the black racists and LIBERAL Democrat / LGBTQ supportive voter corps.

The media would have been ruthless. They were riding him about things he said to Christians about speculations that grain was stored in the pyramids . These anecdotal stories are often a part of sermonizing in evangelical churches.
So they took this and ran with it showing he may be a brain surgeon but he has thinking problems . In actuality , there was speculation that grain was stored in the pyramids by archaeological theorists. I recall the theory . I also found a link to this idea but this is over. Everyone decided after the media assault he was not competent to be president. They did a similar thing with Sarah Palin in spades. She didn't think of what newspapers she read. Most of us get our news online. It was just a bizarre question she was unprepared for. Who reads newspapers that isn't over fifty five. I mean then the media would have said she reads newspapers and who does that . She is a dinosaur, except Matt Damon piped up and went off on her believing in a Creator. Obama attended an African nationalist church. What if Trump attended a church that catered to all people from Scotland formerly who wanted to keep Scottish traditions alive in the United States. People would have gone nuts over that.
I don't think Ben would have destroyed Obama. The media would have destroyed Ben Carson and they should not have this kind of power over sensible human beings.
