What is (10^170)^5 in Scientific Notation, simplified, without the dual calciulation nor brackets. . .?

Also, please, how does one calculate it?

& how mnany zroes after a leading 1 are we talkng about?

    You multiply the indices together

    (10^170)^5

    = 10^(170 x 5)

    = 10^(850)

    = 1 x 10^(850) in scientific notation

    850 zeroes after a leading 1

    Multiply the exponents!

    ((10^(170))^(5)

    10^(170 * 5)

    = 10^(850)

    -----------

    For example,

    x^3 * x^5 = (x * x * x) * (x * x * x * x * x) = x^(3 + 5) = x^(8)

Clearly, their are eight x's in multiplication.
