Can i transfer data from my broken kindle fire to a new one?

    If you mean personal non-Amazon data, I think only if it functions well enough for you to access a USB data connection to a PC. Then, with the Kindle ON, you can access it from the PC as if it was a USB flash drive and copy files off. Only copy personal files - no system files because you would like screw up a newer model if you copied any older system files onto it.

    For Amazon ebooks and apps those belong to the account that purchased them and are not usable by any other account. The correct way to get those on a new Kindle is to register to the same account and then re-download them from the new device's Cloud OR re-deliver them via the Manage Content & Devices page at your Amazon website.

    You can register the new Fire to your account and download things you have previously bought.
