"Why Have All The Poets Gone?" will you kindly c/c? :)?

"Why have all the poets gone?

Is it the same reason as I?

Have they all run for cover

Til the Downpour is over,

Delivered from El Greco sky?

Are they sad, as I was

And upset because

Their real trust was

Misused or mis-treated ?

Are they thinking again,

Whom to contact again,

Or who really deserves

Be deleted?

Would they please please, return

To the fold whare they`re missed

Except you who did spurn

And on our faith hath p*ssed?

Will you some back, inspire us

And ignore the rants

Of the one who unerringly

Has us look, askance?

I have written this rhyme

To appeal to you so

That your value to me

You really do know.

And though

It`s so plain

Its` provides no solution

It`s to explain, that

I Value YOUR contribution!

LOL

`

Until you start listening to critiques rather than looking to start a fight over them, you are misusing this process. The process of critiquing follows this simple maxim: There was a reason God gave us two ears and only one mouth. We should listen at least twice as much as we talk. Verbum sat sapiente.

I am grateful that Pete Seeger and Joe Hickerson jotted down that lyric.

    you are a grand poet,

    this will suffice,

    for this moment.

Man, you're on fire! It's like, "OMG, I've seen the light!!!

I once was blind, but now I see!"

    You go, girl!

and yes, it all got me a little down, but today is a new day,

let us welcome it with opened arms
