A poem, tell me, did you know the ending?

Butterflies hold back

loose wisps of her hair

as cupped hands

attract hummers

who eagerly drink

sweet nectar she

tenderly proffers.

Her smile ushers out

the shy, hiding critters,

her song's a soft breeze,

trees dance in response.

Doves lift up her skirts

as her feet touch

the ground.

Eyes laugh

in pure joy at

the sight she beholds,

she always imagined

a place just like this

when heaven became

her new home.

(Kind friends have asked me to stop in now and again,

I figure a poem a month won't hurt! Thank you.)

    Bippity Boppity Boo!

Scenes from the classic Disney animations Cinderella and Snow White went dancing through my head as I read that. What a delightful picture you paint!

Happy to see you back, Ma.

Nice to see you Sue.. The poem gives a lovely image, and one day we will see what our eyes could not fully see here on earth. We will experience in fullness the true ending won't we?! I know it will be one that is filled with joy and many surprises.

I didn't know the ending but I was distracted by carrot cake so it's not my fault.

    Very nice!
