Will China be a responsible Super Power?
USA had been a Super Power for some time now. With the rise of China, economically, and moving forward, militarily, will China be a responsible Super Power to the region and the world at large?

You must understand China has never took upon itself the image of "World Police", as the US did, therefore as long as they don't get violated, they won't violate anyone, the best interest of Chinese people are... Chinese people.
As China claimed its economical and military might, have you actually seen China at direct conflict with countries other than those around its borders? Well America posed itself as the server of justice, and did what they believed was right. Some might be opinionated and say China isn't doing anything to live up to its responsibilities, but hey, they didn't invade Iraq.
Historically China was never violent, the mass of revolution in early 20th century was caused from the oppression and threat of Japan, as well as European countries, who ravaged China, forced opium trade and blasted the imperialist doors off its hinges. For half a century they suffered, and finally, under the industrialised nations' threats, they had no more patience, BAM, revolution to throw off the useless Nationalists.
So you can understand when I say China and its people are capable of astounding things, one of which is returning to the top of the world in half a century, but they will never let power get the better of them, or think they're better than anyone else, China will never become another America.

No more or less than we *were*, I suspect.
