my 2004 jeep liberty is sluggish and the check engine light is on?

I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty, when I am stopped and start to drive again it seems to be sluggish. Not all the time, occasionally. When I hit between 40 and 50 MPH it almost seems like its not getting enough gas and the engine light flashes! The engine light is ALWAYS on and I don't know why. I had an oil change, tune up and everything! Does anyone know why it is doing this?

Autozone will check the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) for free to tell you why the light is on. I would surmise it has something to do with your problem. Bad O2 sensor, etc.
