When my daughter sends me an email, on my screen, it always chops off the last three words or so. Why?

We've both got yahoo email, I've set my screen width for both sending and receiving at 88 characters. I think she has done the same. She is using #4 size font. I'm stumped.

Is it Internet Explorer you are using?

I tend to have fewer problem using Mozilla Firefox. I've had that problem before on IE, but can't remember how I got around it in the past.
