Can Someone please help me?

i started playing basketball a few months ago

im trying to touch the rim but i can only get half way up the net

does anyone have any tips on how i can jusp higher to touch the rim

    Practise, Do some jumping drills,and maybe some leg weights. That helped me to jump higher when i was playing.

    first of all, altheticism is important but you should be worrying about skill development right now.

    to jump higher, there are many factors, flexibility, not having any significant strength imbalances, strength, explosiveness, weight.

    i would advise you to develop strength and flexibility first and then move on to plyometric exercises after developing a solid foundation

    Go online and search plyometrics. Thats calf muscle excercises And leg exercises. That will increase your speed, Acceleration and your hops.

    Work out focusing on leg exercises.

    Next time you practice dunking (or jumping) do it with ankle weights on.

    Just work on your ups by goin up stairs and down fast. Also keep jumping.
