How can i add cable to a really old TV when it doesnt have a cable plug?

The TV has a plug to add an antenna to but no cable. is there a connector or something i can use?

    Best bet: Buy a new TV. Even if you connect the cable to the TV correctly, you will be unable to receive most of the channels, unless you also use a converter box from the cable company.

    Assuming for the moment that you DO have a converter box, the output side will have a coaxial connector with an Impedance of 75 ohms. Every TV I have ever seen, has either a pair of screws for 300 ohm antenna lead, or a 75 ohm coaxial connector. If your TV has the two screws, you can buy a balun at Radio Shack to convert between the two types of connectors, and run a piece of 75 ohm coax from the converter box to the balun.

    There's a thing called a splitter that you can buy at radio Shack, Best Buy, etc... You can connect your antennae and cable to it then connect the wire to your old tv set. You might want to consider buying a new tv.

    Yes, they make a little box that you can connect the cable to. Try Radio Shack.

    You can connect the TV to a VCR and the VCR to Cable service. It works.

    im with radio shack on this one, i know they have a part, i had to do that to my tv before i got a brand new one and they also have the part at wal-mart and the employee in that department know their stuff
