Microsoft word?

Ever computer that I have ever bought has always had Microsoft word on it already.

I spent twice as much this time to get all the bells and whistles and when I go to install Microsoft, it is asking me for the product key code? I don't have one. I think what is going on here is the place that sold it to me, kept it? Or whatever but they know nothing...real convenient!

I don't want to have to pay for the software but do I have any other choices?

I can't answer that for you but thought I'd mention a great, FREE office product that's available now! http://www.openoffice.org . I use it with no problems.

If you've already owned the program, you should be able to transfer it from your old PC. Usually the key code is on the install disks that came with one of your older computers. Have you checked that?
