• Why do Muslims overlook the bad things that Muhammad did? Why do they want to emulate a person that committed so many odious crimes?

Are they not aware of Muhammad's history or do they choose to ignore it?

  • Why are Muslims are obsessed with halal food?

They always ask "is this halal, is this halal, is this halal" etc. It's annoying. Even I overheard some kids in McDonald claiming that they can't eat chicken sandwich because "it's not halal"... Would there be amy difference?

Two weeks ago he found stuff on my phone and found out that I dont follow the rules of Islam. I take my hijab off when my parents arent around, I dont pray, I talk to boys. I ve told him that I dont want to be Muslim anymore and he said he can t force any beliefs or ideas on me, but he still makes me pray and tries to make me read Islamic books...like wtf. There s no way to change my mind. I know in my heart that I do not want to be Muslim and i NEVER have. Ive also told my mom that I dont want to be Muslim and that I dont believe any of it but she told me that she cant accept it. I hate feeling like they re shoving religion down my throat. Are they allowed to do this? How can i stop being Muslim without ruining my family? Im already technically not Muslim since I dont believe in God. Im basicall an atheist but how can I get away from all of this? I dont want to hurt my parents but I also want to be comfortable in my own skin and happy. Please help.

Best answer: Provided you can cherrypick the peaceful bits, ignore the hostile bits, and dismiss much of sharia, there may be slight chance of it not interfering with liberal, democratic, human rights values

Best answer: 1- being Observant Jew has nothing to do with your mom or dad , Judaism isn't only Race , it's race and religion and spiritual path , already there are Converts to Judaism who has zero Jewish blood , so it's not a problem unless you want to experience some other spiritual Paths , you are very welcome to be a Jewish Sufi Muslim
Report : inside the life of the Jewish Sufis
    https://forward.com/news/352233/photos-i...
or Like The Jewish Sufi Muslim Chabad Lubavitch Rabbi Zalman Schachter Shalomi , he is an authority in the Jewish renewal Movement , he was a friend to Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach , and was initiated to many sufi Muslim orders and was friend to many Sufi sheikhs , he holds the name of Allah in his office and also holds pictures of His beloved Sufi Muslim Sheikhs along with his Rabbis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6G0AVRK...

2- Yes true , as Sunan an-Nasa'i Book: 37, Hadith: 4078 reports how Prophet Muhammad PBUH has accepted two Jews and told them " for you Jews especially, do not break the Sabbath" both of them kissed his hands and feet , they believed in him without leaving Judaism as already he told them don't break Sabbath , but they favored to believe secretly ( Taqiya Style ) to avoid any punishments from some stone hearted Jewish Leaders .
    http://qaalarasulallah.com/hadithView.ph...
So Yes you don't need to break your covenant , just become a good Jew softened hearted who loves God's creatures , respect all the Prophets including Muhammad PBUH and Jesus PBUH , just like the Great Pious Jewish Sufi Rabbis , This is an Anceint Jewish Tradition btw it's not something new , this is the teachings of Rabbi Abraham Ben Maimon , Maimonades's Son . so many hundreds of years ago .

Best answer: Yes Indeed , Already the two daughters of the Prophet PBUH Ruqaya and Um Kalthoum were married to non Muslim men ,it's their mother in law who has forced her sons to divorce them because she hates the Prophet PBUH and he was very sad for what happened to his daughters .

The Quranic verse 2:221 talks about Mushriks not anyone else plus the verse already is a "recommendation" , usually Sunni Scholars are very Confused regarding the matter they don't know what is Shirk and what is Mushrik , or what is Kufr they lack guidance for they follow their whims and desires , they rejects the teachings of the Saints who holds the authentic teachings of the Prophet PBUH . actually if the Sunni interpretation is right then why they allow their men to marry non Muslim women !!! why they call non Muslim women " Mushriks " while the verse talks about " Mushriks " !!! why only Muslim women !!! because the Sunni scholars are MEN who follows their whims and desires .

Christians , Jews , Hindus , Sikh ,Atheist , Agnostic etc whether men or women are NOT Mushriks , first of all Shirk Must be combined with Kufr not the way around , so You need to know what is Kufr first then know what is Shirk and why God can forgive all sins including Kufr but can't forgive Shirk .

Kufr is to cover and hide God in an exclusive object , exclusive place , exclusive area , exclusive religion , exclusive person , exclusive sect , exclusive race ,etc , while Shrik is to LORD them over others to a degree of harming other souls for If you keep breaking other people’s hearts, whatever religious duty you perform is no good , so this is shirk is to live a hell within a hateful life you aren't only Hiding God in your religion or sect or bank account which is Kufr but you also LORD them over others to a degree of harming other People with your religion , your sect your money etc so you live hell within a life full of hatred , that's why Quran 2:221 says " Mushriks invites to Hell " ie the hell within for if you married such person , they will turn your life into a living hell , believers Should NOT marry any Mushrik man or any Mushrik woman as the verse says , for they live in hell within , actually when you marry such person whether he/she is a external Muslim ( by name given through the organized established cult which has nothing to do with Original Islam ) , Jew , Christian or whatever you are inviting hell in your life , so it's better to avoid such persons for marriage even if they look good and sexy , this is the meaning of the verse but if you gonna marry a guy or a girl from whatever background whether they are Muslims , Christians Hindu , Jews or whatever , and they have peace within they loves God's creatures they harm no one they wish good for all people then you are inviting heaven to your life .

a Muslim is the opposite of Mushrik and already the whole world are Muslims btw , as The Prophet said in the hadith ; " The Muslim , is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe, and the believer is the one people trust with their lives and wealth.” , compare this hadith with marrying a believing woman and man instead of mushriks , for Mushriks like ISIS or Al Qaeda idolize their religion their own understanding of God ( who is located only in the sky according to their beliefs which is Kufr for it hides and covers God in an exclusive Place ) over others , so they hide God and cover God then they harm others too so so they have turned themselves from the state of Kufr to the state of Shirk .

Kufr alone isn't a problem already it's forgivable , for God don't take us for our words or what we profess in our heads , it's hearts that's what is Important as Prophet Muhammad said ' God only looks inside your hearts " and as Saint Shams Tabrizi said : " “Don’t judge the way other people connect to God; to each his own way and his own prayer.God does not take us at our WORD . He looks deep into our HEARTS . It is not the ceremonies or rituals that make a difference, but whether our hearts are sufficiently pure or not.”

Shrik is a Problem for it means that the Mushrik lives a hell within they are full of hatred they harm others , for Saint Shams Tabrizi said :" Don't search for heaven and hell in the future. Both are now present. Whenever we manage to love without expectations, calculations, negotiations, we are indeed in heaven. Whenever we fight, hate, we are in hell "
So the Mushrikin are those who are filled with hatred , fight and lives in hell within ., they can't be forgiven unless they forgive and change their ways and seek heaven , for God can't Impose something on them they don't like , God forgives Kufr at ease but Shirk needs the permission of the Mushrik and they are stone hearted they can't accept Divine intervention for them they would label God a' Satan " ! they totally rejects the light .

So this is Kufr and Shirk , let us see how Saint Shams Tabrizi define the matter again , for he said : " Nothing should stand between you and God. No imams, priests, rabbis or any other custodians of moral or religious leadership. Not spiritual masters and not even your faith. Believe in your values and your rules, but never LORD them over others. If you keep BREAKING other people’s HEARTS , whatever religious duty you perform is no good. Stay away from all sorts of IDOLATRY , for they will blur your vision. Let God and only God be your guide. Learn the Truth, my friend, but be careful not to make a fetish out of your truths " .

So Yes you can marry Muslim or Non Muslim man , just choose wise , don't invite a hellish person into your life , for he gonna turn it into hell in the cell !

One of the Ancient Muslim Schools of thought are the Nizari Ismailis allows marriage between Muslim women and non Muslim men , they are the descendants of the Islamic Mystical Order of The Assassins , they are original Shia Muslims btw with the Bektashi Muslims both groups are the Authentic Shia Islam
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nizari#Marriage
Even the Daughter of the Current Grand Imam of the Nizari Ismailis was married to a Christian Guy , the Current Imam Prince Aga Khan IV is the successor of Prophet Muhammad PBUH according to The Nizari beliefs , for the Imamhood has never stopped since the time of Prophet Muhammad for them unlike Shia twelver beliefs .
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zahra_Aga_Khan

You can get married in civil way or in a Liberal mosque , search the MPVUSA , they have mosques across the world , Contact them when you are planning for such marriage they will help you .

So I was born and raised in New york city and well I wanna start wearing the hijab but none of my friends do it and so idk why but I kinda feel scared. I try to fast and I try to not backbite, and I used to pray 5 times a day but now, for some reason, it's usually 3-4, and I often miss fajr. I wanna start praying 5 times a day, and I also wanna start wearing the hijab. I'm not forced to cover my hair or anything, and my parents let me wear whatever I want but I myself want to stop wearing shorts and short sleeved or strapless clothes and stuff like that. Adding onto that, I do only eat halal, which is something I'm glad I do

  • Is wearing the hijab mandatory?

I’ve worn the hijab from ages 14-20. I took it off. I recently found out that wearing a hijab isn’t even mentioned anywhere in the Quran, they just expect you to wear loose clothing. Wearing the hijab is just culture.
