I need cat help?
13 month old male cat. He's a black bobtail cat which means he doesn't have a tail. It doesn't happen all the time but often enough that its become a problem. He does a number 2 in his little box but some remains on him. Usually around bis bum or on ot his bum but I've seen it on his upper leg before. I don't think its diarrhea just fresh soft weird colored poop. When it happens while Im at home I just wash him off but sometimes it happens while im out and I come home to in on the floor in the walls even on furniture! Its disgusting and it needs to stop. I don't think it's diarrhea...there has been no changes in his food since putting him on adult food and this happened while he was a kitten too. He rarely gets table food and sometimes gets soft food as a treat but not often. I have not noticed if this bathroom issues happens more or less when he has the soft food. So I don't know if there's a connection there. Its just so gross. He hates baths and hates being wiped down even more so it's really difficult to deal with this. He only goes in the little box so I know hes not pooping elsewhere on purpose. I've also seen pieces of dried poop around the house which im guessing fell off him and I didn't see it before it had time to try up. This is so gross and im at a loss of what to do. If I call the vet they will just recommend I bring him in so they can make money off me. $70 just for a check up and I'll probably be told hes fine. I'm not a dirty person and hes not a dirty cat.

When do I start bringing a new kitten into my room?
We recently got a new cat, she’s currently 7 weeks old and my family is okay with me having her in my room at night except my room is not connected to the house so she will be living in “two different places”, i decided to let her get used to the house first as when/if i go away that’s where she will be. but when is a good time to start introducing her to my room and how? do i bring her in for a few hours everyday after a certain amount of time or should i start now? or go straight for the overnight stay? (i still have to get my in room supplies for her so i can’t start like tomorrow obviously). i was thinking after a week to start slowly introducing her to my room but i thought to seek other opinions as well as i’m not an expert on cats

Room mate fallout ?
I recently was going to have a friend come and live with me but we had a falling out because her cats are in fixed and she insisted they need to move so I told her she need to move somewhere else so now she’s living with her boyfriend but she left her crap all in my house and it smells like cat P and we keep messaging her to pick it up but she keeps making every excuse in the book why she can’t pick it up. What should I do with the stuff because I’m tired of it smelling up my house and it smells like my garage just as bad

What should we buy for a stray cat?
Favourite answer:Get its medical history, pet carrier, bed, water dispenser, sand box, odor masking spray, poop scooper, lot of palm size zip bag. Check deworm and vaccine.
Check for any injury, and diseases. Get stool sample examined.
These are basic, but for happy pet, you need to get grooming kit, perching stand, scratching pads etc

Got Cat Without Telling Parents, How Do I Tell Them?
Favourite answer:Don't listen to the mean answers. Nobody should talk to people like that.
It wasn't a great idea to get a cat when you already have two and your parents have already in effect said no, but it's there. You'll have to come clean at some point, and your parents might say you have to find a new home for it. Or they might let you keep it. I would start by apologizing and saying you just couldn't resist. Tell them that if they let you keep the kitten, you'll do some work around the house or yard that they need done.
Also, they may be concerned that you might move somewhere in a couple of years that doesn't allow pets and they would get stuck with your cats.
Best of luck with your parents and cats. Here are my three cats. I think three is a good upper limit!

How is this training a kitten?
I went to visit my brother last week and his kitten walked up and brushed against me and then suddenly jumped and yowled loudly and ran away to hide. I asked what was wrong with his cat and he told me that he had put a shock collar on the kitten to train it not to do certain things. The way that he explained it was if he wasn’t striking or yelling at the cat then it wouldn’t make the kitten fear him. Isn’t it normal for a kitten to greet new people? Also I have never heard of the use of shock collars on cats or kittens. I thought that they were only intended for dogs. He said it keeps his kitten off of the countertop and furniture.

My cat hates my baby?
I recently asked how to introduce my cat to my baby. We introduced her to one cat today. I took your suggestions and put them in a quiet room and was super calm with the
Baby in my arms. I slowly lowered her. The cat started hissing and yowling. Be aware this cat is the sweetest cat there is. The other cats are fine with her. But what should I do? I really don’t wanna give the cat away.
