• Sorry but the idea of selling Isco or Hames Rodriguez for Hazard would be total madness?

Did you know that Hazard played today? To sell a player who makes our midfield more or less unplayable OR the guy who lit up the World Cup how he did and continues to contribute massively to RM in the season run-off while the coach works against him, for Hazard, a player who just can't do it in big games,... show more

To sell a player who makes our midfield more or less unplayable OR the guy who lit up the World Cup how he did and continues to contribute massively to RM in the season run-off while the coach works against him, for Hazard, a player who just can't do it in big games, finals, in Europe or internationally and arguably slows down the pace of the team's attack... Well. No thanks

  • How would you feel if a Canadian team made the NHL finals and possibly won a cup?

I was very happy to see Pittsburgh Penguins advance to the Stanley Cup finals. Honestly, as a law-abiding, taxpaying, patriotic American citizen, I don't know how I would feel having a Canadian team in our league finals. With Canada's continuous gross disregard for American diary, underpricing their products to drive ours away, and their history of sending unwanted, potentially dangerous individuals into America, I cannot, with all honesty, see a Canadian team succeed here. Not to mention my tax dollars funding their defense system through NATO, which a President FINALLY addressed. I do support our allies but enough is enough. Time to think American, stand for American, buy American, and love American. What are your guys' thoughts?

  • LeBron James or Larry Bird?

At their very best, who was better at basketball? Not talking about rings, durability, or anything else. Not a sum of their whole career, just basketball ability at their absolute peak. Who was the better player and why?

  • Barring major summer changes, can you see Chelsea going any further than the ro16 in the CL?

As I explained yesterday, Chelsea are a primitive side, a side of midfield blockers, pacey black widemen and battering ram strikers. Primitive. Backwards. Simple-minded. We know now that this doesn't get anywhere in Europe. Plus their players are not truly world class. I don't ever wanna hear of Kante... show more

We know now that this doesn't get anywhere in Europe. Plus their players are not truly world class. I don't ever wanna hear of Kante again LOL. Useless in posession. Matic is one of my least favorite players in world football. Horrendous nonfootballing trash gets overran in big games everytime. When you look at the advanced football of Real Madrid, the technical sophistication of its players. Well, that's the benchmark for getting anywhere near what is, rightly, Real Madrid's trophy. But forget about Real Madrid, A BVB or Monaco type will comfortably do Chelsea over with their tier 2 (or in the case of Alonso and Moses, tier 4, tier 3 on TOP form) players and their almost insulting simpleton's football. What do Chelsea need to do?

Best answer: He gets winded quick.

He pretty much spelled it out in a recent interview, he worked his *** off to get the physical appearance, the look he had when he was in his 30s, because he didn't believe anyone would take him seriously otherwise, he didn't want to go out to the ring looking like a cruiserweight.

His focus wasn't cardio, it wasn't on being able to put on a marathon, 30 minute match, he was focused on size, he was focused on looking like a credible threat and being able to do the two moves he is famous for, the spear and jackhammer, and to make those two moves look credible.

It's amazing he was able to come back at 50, and to do it looking the way he did, he really looked like he was in the same shape he was twenty years ago, it was pretty amazing.

  • If Fabregas is somehow better than Iniesta and Modric, why is it that, when all are fit, he can't even get in Chelsea's team?

Simple riddle lol. Why can he not dislodge the Serbian Djemba Djemba from Conte's primitive xi? Do you think Modric or Iniesta could conceivably find themselves offered to Europa League clubs (without much success LOL) to make room for Nathaniel Chalobah? Come on now. Do you think Modric or Iniesta could conceivably find themselves offered to Europa League clubs (without much success LOL) to make room for Nathaniel Chalobah? Come on now. Fabregas just isn't close to being a special player. Conte wants blockers, he isn't a blocker so he's off, Barcelona wanted a world class, creative, positional midfielder who can transition the ball seamlessly and dangerously. He wasn't that so he was off. He isn't close to being a special player.
