But are there any others superhero comics I can buy and aren’t confusing and I don’t have to buy a million comics from different superheroes and timelines to understand what’s happening?

These animated sitcoms suffer the same expiration date problem that regular sitcoms do. Eventually, you just use up the premise and start repeating yourself. But unlike live action sitcoms you aren't paying hugely expensive actors, so you can last longer. That doesn't mean the quality is still good.

And yes, the humor IS mostly sophomoric. They also sometimes bring some clever political satire to the table.

  • If you had the choice, would you either be a Jedi or a Sith?

Im just curious as to what people may think. Also if possible an explanation as to why you chose either side would be nice. You can even chose a side outside of being a Sith or Jedi.. for example if you wanted to just be a rouge.

  • I think the cartoons from the 1980s weren't that good. Do you agree?

I used to think 1980s cartoons were really good like how 1990s cartoon were. *Villain was poorly developed

*It is noticeable what was filmed by director Zack Snyder, and what was filmed by writer Joss Whedon

At this point, it is impossible for the film to earn $1 billion worldwide. At best, the film may earn between $600 and 700 million.

  • Why do Superheroes Fight in Cities?

Superheroes are always fighting aliens and other superpowered dudes or monsters right in the middle of a city, even after they cause massive property damage or many lives to be lost. I mean, you think they would learn by now and just take the fight far away from civilization.

DC, most of their characters are either virtual gods (Kryptonians, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, etc) with power levels that are just SO NUTS that one wonders how anyone lives in this world, OR, the other type of hero they have are violent thugs with daddy issues (Batman, Green Arrow, etc).

Whereas Marvel's characters felt more real and grounded. They were still super, but more within reason...more comprehensible. Superman has MOVED A PLANET. How do you even relate to that kind of thing?

However, in the early 90s when I quit Marvel for good, the stories were so awful, and everything was just a setup for the next crossover event. Characterization no longer mattered, and they liked to destroy the integrity of the characters rather than growing them gradually. So I bailed and started following authors. I started reading a few DC titles, mostly peripheral ones, and mostly because a particular author drew me in.

It's been awhile since I've been in comics, but everything I've heard about Marvel from friends still collecting is that they have really disrespected their characters and made a mess. Further, I am seriously considering dipping my toe back into the water for the first time in more than a decade, and my inspiration is the CW Arrowverse. I adore Flash and Supergirl. So I guess you could say that, at the moment, I prefer DC.

  • Are you a marvel fan? What is your favorite charachter? And movie?

Best answer: 1) I used to be, but they lost me in the early 90s with bad storylines, and an obsession with events and gimmicks and crossovers, and from what my friends who collect Marvel tell me, I am SO GLAD I didn't stick around to watch the Marvel U fall apart like it has. Would've broken my heart. 2) Spider-Man... show more

    2) Spider-Man and Cyclops. I love Spider-Man's relateability, humor, fallibility, willingness to be scared. He's not the super confident or super cool hero, he's just a guy trying his best to get by in crazy situations. Cyclops is a compelling tragic character whose power is so lethal, he cannot even look at people. And yet, with the help of his visor is simultaneously the most in-control character, honing his ability to the point of being able to bounce his beams off surfaces in a majestic game of pool.

    3) Ummm...that's hard. So many of the recent MCU has been so good. It's probably Guardians of the Galaxy 1.

As to your other questions, if you want to re-ask them, fine, I'm not going to hunt for it.
