  • Do you think this was rude or no?

I was getting my driver's license renewed when the clerk asked me if I wanted to be an organ donor. I said NO and she just gave me a dirty look and sighed like I was a terrible person. So should I report this person or no?

She was divorced like 3 or 4 months ago. I was wondering if it’s an appropriate timing. If I don’t do it, someone else will. She is very pretty.

Also, to say that she's holding up "important people" is as rude and impolite as you can get. Then the icing on the cake is flicking her off. You're a terrible person. Slow people may be slow or clueless which is harmless, but being a flat out rude person is a choice.

Best answer: You are an adult and do not have to do anything you do not want to do. Some managers feel such events help their staff bond. In my experience they are deluded. Without the usual constraints that the place of work imposes and with alcohol thrown into the mix they often cause trouble, friction and behaviours people end up regretting.

Tell your employer that you do not want to attend the Christmas party and that you will not be going. If asked why simply say because you do not want to go. Your reason requires no further elaboration. As an intorvert you may find that difficult. So, put it into perspective. What will be worse? The short period of time spent saying you are not going or the entire evening of the Christmas party you must endure if you fail to get out of it?

I just found out I will be in a situation where I need to shake the hand of a guy who was born without his right hand. Do I shake with my right hand as usual or should I shake with my left hand? I suppose it is important to just look him in the eye.

I have recently started to date a guy who is religious, and shares my faith. We exchanged messages back and fourth for a few weeks before meeting, and I have now been on one date with him. The date went really well and he bought me chocolate, and then texted me soon after the date telling me he was definitely up for meeting again and asked me if I wanted to go on a second date with him and that he likes to plan ahead. We have now arranged a second date. Since arranging the date, he messages me, and the other day he sent me a message asking me if I had read any religious books on the topic of dating because he wants to approach dating in a different way to his family and friends who aren't religious, and wants to be Godly. He also said after getting to know each other, that we should read books together to get more familiar with the idea of christian dating He also said he wants to date me exclusively and said he won’t see anyone else because he wants to see if we work out When we meet up, he always remembers what I told him previously, and buys me chocolate and makes gifts for me. Is he being too forward?

Do you think waiters and waitresses have the right to complain when they don't get tipped the "respectable" amount they think they earned? In my opinion, I don't think waiters and waitresses should "expect" a tip. I think a majority of servers lose the understanding of a "tip". A tip is earned through hard work above normal standards. Many of these servers don't want to do anything more than what their job says to do, and they expect a tip. In my opinion, I think servers are not happy with their pay and their field of work, so they complain about the customers not supporting them. I think of it as, "you chose this field of work, you have to find a way to deal with it. It is not the worlds fault for your unhappy lifestyle." Am I missing something? Let me know!
