  • Why are vaccinations a thing?

Best answer: Needles suck but are a necessary evil, they are the easiest way to go about vaccinating a large population. They do have other ways for some, not as effective and they tend to be more expensive.

I'm 20 years old. Yesterday I went with my parents and sister to a financial appointment. The night before I hadn't slept AT ALL. I hadn't slept in over 24 hours so I was exhausted. When we got to the appointment I told them I was gonna stay in the car and nap instead. They gave me the keys in case I wanted to turn on the air conditioner and left. In my state of exhaustion I fell asleep almost immediately with the keys still in my hand before I had time to turn the air conditioner on. It was almost 90 degrees outside and I slept for two hours more or less. When I woke up I felt like I couldn't breathe and it took a couple minutes for me to figure out what was going on before I turned on the air conditioner. I was soaked in sweat and super dizzy. I read that after 30 minutes in 90 degree weather a car can get up to 120 degrees, and I was in there around two hours. I told my parents what happened when they came back outside but they didn't seem concerned and I was cooled off and drank water so I thought I would be fine. I felt really bad the rest of the day but I just attributed it to lack of sleep (I have a sleep disorder so it's not out of the ordinary for me to occasionally just not sleep for 24 hours, I'm working on it). When we got back home I went to bed at around 7pm and slept until 5am. I woke up and immediately had to go throw up. I'm insanely sick at my stomach and my head hurts really bad. Do I need to go to the hospital or is this something I can sleep off?

As far as I can remember I’ve never been able to fall asleep at night. I can stay up 2 days in a row be tired as **** and still won’t be able to fall asleep even tho I’m very tired. I tend to think a lot when it’s time for bed, so much even that I wish I could just knock myself out to make it stop. My thoughts are probably the reason to why I can’t sleep. There was a time when I would drink large amounts of night time medicine to help me sleep, but i had to stop due to having “night terrors”. The medicine would help me fall asleep but my mind would keep on thinking like it always did and I would end up being somewhat awake but unable to move. I would often see an old man staring back at me, it would terrify me. I used to visit a psychologist when I was 13 for that same reason, I told my parents about it and they started taking me to a psychologist. After months of therapy I stayed the same, still unable to sleep until this day (I’m currently 18 years of age) I haven’t tried getting any sort of help since I was 13.
