Neutered kitten won't keep cone on?
I got my 7 month old kitten neutered today and we were provided with a cone to stop prevent from interfering with the sutures. The cone came off immediately when we got home and then we got a collar to put in the cone instead of the ribbon. This worked better but he still manages to remove it. We've kept him in his carrier all to to avoid him running around and he still takes the cone off in there, also the position he lays in makes the collar tight around his neck (and if it's any looser he will just take it right off). We even tried cutting a shirt with holes in it for his arms and legs, but he took that off too. So far I haven't seen him licking the surgical site, but I'm afraid when I'm sleeping he will and it will get infected. Please help me I don't know what else to do, I already called the vet before and the best advice they could offer me is the collar thing. Is it really necessary to have the cone on?

I have a cat with ringworm. I had him 3 weeks now. 5 others live in the house with me but I have been the only one to get it despite everyone playing with him and him rubbing on everyone. Does this mean I’m the only one able to get it?

Is ringworm in cat still contagious after starting to treat it?
How long until ringworm is not contagious in cats and humans? I am using clotrinazole cream on me and my cat along with giving it vinegar baths and using antifungal shampoo on it. I have been doing this for about a week now. Would it still be contagious? The cat needs lots of love since he came from an abusive home and he loves cuddling up. He will cry without cuddles.

Legally what can i do about this cat issue?
My cousin had a cat. She smoked meth and pot around said cat and made the cat deathly ill. I took the cat to the vet because cousin went out and partied, abandoning said cat with no sitter in our shared home. Shes never taken the cat to the vet and has no legal records of cat belonging to her. This is the 7th cat shes made sick/lost/dead early. Shes neglected it. I paid for all vet bills and special food. Is there any legal way she can get the cat back after this (having friends say the cat is hers, her kids saying the cats hers, pictures on her phone)? Cat may be permanently ill/disabled, and cousin is still doing drugs. She has a single litterbox in her room thats caked in feces but thats all the physical proof she has since her cat just ate out of my cats food and water. Cats less then a year old and is very tiny. Vet was very concerned and said cat isnt well enough for vaccines and will need follow up visits.

mice are pregnant! how do i know when they will give birth?
so about a month or so back i got three pet mice, but the problem is i only now found out that one is male. the other two are very big at this point and i found out 2 days ago. of course i separated them from the male and put them in two separate bin cages with bedding, food and water. the bigger one has made a huge nest and the other has made a small one but doesn't seem like she wants to expand it at all... since they already made their nests how much longer will it be until they give birth?

If I was going to keep black crickets as pets, how would I stop them escaping ? read info below?
Black crickets can eat and ruin furniture and clothes which would worry me if they ever escaped, I wouldn't breed them, I'd just want them as pets, also, what would I feed them ? how would I clean the enclosure out ?
