  • My girlfriend is the navy and I am in college?

My girlfriend and I just recently graduated high school together. She just got done with basic and is in Great Lakes in Illinois. I just started my first semester as a freshman at a small college in Iowa. We wrote each other many times during her basic. From what she would write, she wanted to continue on in this relationship for a life time. To my surprise, she broke up with me a day after graduating basic, saying she wanted to remain as friends.

All I know is that I love and care for her immensely, and I don't want to let her go. We're in good terms and I am going to tell her my feelings today.

How could this all possibly workout? Could we last? We were dating for 2 months before basic however, we quickly grew close together and her personality is compatible with mine. What should I do? I don't want us to end. Has anyone shared a similar experience? If so, how did that work out?

  • How am I a creep? How do I stop being "creepy"?? (Preferably Women Answer)?

I am a 17 year old male and have been called a creep consistently for years now. I absolutely HATE getting called a creep.

When I think of a creep, I think of a psychopathic pedophile rapist with a mustache and large thick 90s glasses. A creep for me is a child molester, rapist, or necrophiliac. I am none of those. My family members have been molested when they were younger which caused them much turmoil. I hate child molesters and rapists and would kill them all with the push of a button.

Why am I called a creep though? This word is tossed around like nothing. I want to increase my social skills so that one day I will be a great conversationalist and "creepy" will never cross anybody's mind.

What makes someone creepy? What makes someone the complete opposite of creepy? Please list some specific traits and behaviors of a creepy guy compared to a non-creepy guy. I really want to stop being "creepy" and start being polarizing and a social magnet.

  • Is heaven the ultimate goal in Christianity?

If there was no heaven at all, if there was only hell, then what would be the motivation in living a Christ-like life? If there was no heaven and one's consciousness simply vanished after death, than why would Christians want to be Christian?

Christians have faith that there is a heaven. If there was no heaven, then why go through the trouble of resisting the natural urges to lie, cheat, fornicate, and cuss?

Sure Christians believe in having a relationship with God, but if that didn't grant them heaven, would Christians really seek a relationship with God still? It wouldn't be worth doing what God wants everyone to do if everyone went straight to hell regardless of anything. Thus, entry into heaven is THE ultimate goal in Christianity, nothing more. Right?

  • FAFSA & CSS Profile: Parents divorced but living together?

I am filling out information for my CSS profile and FAFSA. My parents are legally divorced but they still live together. My mom is my legal custodial parent but my dad has made more income. My dad pays my bills but my mom is responsible for all the legal stuff regarding me. Whose parents do I give information for?

I would like to fill out my mother's income since I would be qualified for more financial need aid which I need to afford college. My mom's going to make less than $5,000 this year and my dad should make around $35,000. I would rather fill out my dad's information instead of filling them both together, since I would qualify for more money. What am I required to do??

  • Why are most sexy women short?

I've noticed that most women who are sexy tend to be short. When I say sexy, I mean, nice big breasts, small waists, and curvy butts. Examples include: Kim Kardashian-5'2 Chloe Kardashian-5'0 Angie Varona-5'3 Shakira-5'2.

I'm a pretty tall male (6'3). And I speculate that dating a shorter women would be kind of awkward. However most women who I find extremely attractive are always short.

Why is this? Does anyone else understand what I'm saying?

  • Do I have a tibial Stress Fracture?

I'm 17 and I wrestle. I started to get early shin splints at about June of this year while I was doing pylometrics for P90X. I didn't really RICE and I kept at the program and finished it. The shin pain was on and off. Then I moved on to Insanity and in the third week I started getting real bad shin splints. I began to ice and take iboprofen and bought cushion inserts and began to use my old running shoes(because I was doing p90x and Insanity barefoot on carpet.)

I was able to deal with the pain and then I moved on to preseason wrestling in the middle of october. That's when I really started getting real painful shin pain. I stopped running outside, had my arches taped, and iced after practice. I would still workout inside on the wrestling mats and I'd still wrestle and run on the mats.

Last night my shins hurt really bad even after practice even though I took iboprofen before practice, usually when I took iboprofen the pain before practice, the pain wouldn't be as strong. But last night it hurt a lot. I had to crawl at one point because of the pain. And today in the morning, I had to sprint to my 1st hour to not be late. As I was sprinting the pain radiated throughout my lower legs. When I got to class I was in such deep pain

I have a pretty good physical pain tolerance compared to almost every American thanks to my athletic background. But when I was in the classroom the pain was just bombarding my head. I even started to shed tears because it hurt so bad. I had to go to the nurse to get iboprofen.

Do I have a stress fracture? I developed shin splints in June and it is now almost November. I didn't rest to heal and kept pushing past the pain, just like people said to do while working out.

I get a real sharp pain in a specific area and I have to walk on my heels. It is in the inside part of my shin bone on both legs. Do I have a stress fracture?

  • Why do girls go crazy over One Direction?

Before you go off in a tantrum, I'm a guy, but I don't hate, dislike, or like One Direction. I have no reason to dislike/like them because I have never known them well enough to judge their true characters(not how they act when there's cameras around). I like a variety of music and I don't really like or dislike the music of One Direction, it's just whatever to me.

The thing that I do not understand is why girls go crazy(screaming, crying, having seizure like behavior, etc) over One Direction? I'm a heterosexual guy and even I can tell they're good looking, I mean it's true but there are so many "good looking" guys out there that it really isn't anything super unique. So they're British? So is everyone else in England. So they can sing well? So can many other everyday people.

I'm not jealous by any means, I just don't understand why girls act foolish for them. They're just normal dudes with common talents that got lucky with the music industry. I mean, they aren't as influential or important to the world like MLK, JFK, Ghandi, or Jesus Christ.

So they're good looking, sing well, and are British, so what? For 99.99% of fans out there, you'll never meet them in real life, you wont date them, and they'll never personally acknowledge you. Is it all just a big fantasy? Do girls secretly just want to f*ck them just how guys want to f*ck Katy Perry?

I respectfully request a illegitimate answer. Maybe someone knows of a research study that can answer this? Does evolution or genetics play a role? Why do girls act so stupidly for normal guys? They aren't any more special than you or me, but that's just my opinion.

  • I'm doing Insanity, can I get heart failure?

I'm 17, 6'3, 200lbs, 10% BFP roughly, and a senior in high school, and am gearing up for my last HS wrestling season. I started Insanity a month ago right after I finished P90X Plus, so I was in pretty good shape going into it.

I am in my second month of Insanity. Today I did Max Interval Cardio Plyo; When I workout I go until I start breathing very very hard then I push myself even more and more until my body overrides my conscious and forces me to fall down from muscle failure, then recover asap and get to working out again. Today for some moments I was seriously scared for my life because my heart was beating so quick. Also today, right after muscle failure I'd fall down my muscles would shake in a convulse like state for a few seconds, then I'd workout again(that happened twice today)

I want to be wrestling state champion, am I pushing myself too hard? Can I get heart failure from pushing my body that hard?

  • Shin Splints during 5th Week of Insanity. Please HELP!?

I am 17 years old 6'3, 200lbs, bow legged, and a wrestler entering my last high school season in November. I am in my recovery week of Insanity and have had shin splints for about a week now. I have it in my inner shin just above my ankle. For the first month of Insanity, I performed barefooted on medium cushioned carpet.

I am trying to get into great shape for wrestling because I want to be state champion this season. I started using my running shoes from last season which has helped my shins a little. I have been icing my shins after working out. However I do not want to rest. I have naturally horrible cardio for wrestling and I know that if I rest I will be moving backwards in my cardio. My parents are in debt, I have no access to a pool or cycling.

What can I do to help my shin splints recover the quickest??? Resting is unnaceptable, I want to be the best. I know stress fractures can occur, but I know that there must be an alternative to RICE. Please help?!?

  • Why can't I simply send my ACT scores to colleges?

I have the official score report downloaded on my computer. I do not understand why I can't just upload it or attach it to my application, or email it to colleges I am looking at. Why must I pay for ACT to send them for me when I have the capability of doing it for free? My parents are poor and in debt, we can't afford sending my ACT scores to all these colleges I am applying to.

  • Are shirtless profile pictures inappropriate for 16 year old male?

Are shirtless Facebook profile pictures appropriate for a guy?? Given that there is no suggestive poses but the guy is still fit-looking. Would it be appropriate for a potential manager to see? Or a potential college coach to see?? Or would it be inappropriate?

I think it would be but others may not.

  • Why do I hate dancing so much?? Could I have a phobia?

A while back I went to a leadership camp where we held a dance during the third night there. It was honestly one of the worst experiences ever. I've had awkward and bad experiences with dancing in the past, so this time I just did not want to dance at all. I was really really uncomfortable and was just wishing for the dance to end. I even started to get watery eyes from how uncomfortable I was. I also was having pretty bad anxiety. I had to deny like 5 pretty girls who had wanted to dance with me.

Could I be phobic to dancing? Why do I feel like I'd be no good at dancing? Don't get me wrong, I'm physically and mentally tough, but I just have such a weakness about dancing. Why is this?

    Thank you...
