Why do atheists use pixies, leprechauns and unicorns, things for which there is no evidence, as examples to compare to God?
"Pixies, leprechauns and unicorns are used by some to demonstrate a point.
"For example, if you can claim god exists without presenting any reliably testable evidence to support your claim, then an Atheist can make similar claim(s) about pixies, leprechauns and unicorns... and even gold talking dragons or flying spaghetti monsters."
That answer is based on the demonstrably false premise that there is a lack of evidence that God exists.26 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 year ago
An unpleasant place where any pain is inflicted not by God but by its inhabitants? Or,
"And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Revelation 20:10)
Could Revelation 2:10 be metaphore for annihilation? Perhaps? But if it is, it certainly makes annihilation sound unpleasant. Perhaps being frozen in time at the moment that you are annihilated is eternal torment from you perspective. For you, there is no it's over. You have to continue for it to be over.8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 year ago

Do global warming deniers actually think that giving up homes in Florida to live in Antarctica is a good deal?
Even a "warm" Antarctica will be dark, and frightfully cold in the Winter.6 AnswersGlobal Warming1 year ago

Do global warming deniers realize that it is scientists, not the government, who says that humans are causing Earth to warm?
According to the Government, "The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive."19 AnswersGlobal Warming1 year ago
