Several years ago, I had a mid-life career crisis. I was then hired by a small bank in a neighboring county. I think the bank President had early onset Alzheimer's. Some days, he wasn't too lucid. He brought me on as a Relationship Manager, but gave me no instructions, guidance or similar. There were actually days he didn't even speak to me. I took initiatives on my own to stay busy. After a few months, I could see this was a disaster. The President was then forced to retire. I began reporting to his prick-of-a-dick boss who hated me from the get go. We never respected one another and after three weeks, he suggested I resign and paid me two months wages. I gladly agreed. Now it's been three years, I am wondering if I should even mention it on my resume. I have a wealth of other experience, so it's not going to necessarily reflect poorly if omitted. Thoughts?

Bob puts his money in a good growth stock mutual fund. When Bob reaches age seventy, with no further investments, his $1000 is now worth over $200,000. Bill is constantly in debt with payments of over $500 for shiny cars. Bill never has any money. He does have a picture on his Facebook page of his old car. Is putting money in investments smarter than spending on things that go down in value?
