  • Pistol purchase permit do's and don't's?

This may vary per state, but what are some do's and don't's for open carry. I am in North Carolina and will be picking up my purchase permit later this week. I researched online about open carry but majority of it is more so about concealed. I plan on getting a ccw later down the line, but I don't have time for an 8 hour class at the moment. I understand the purchase permit allows me to open carry, but what are the rules? Does It has to be shown at all times? Does it necessarily have to be on my hip, or can I place it behind my back (Lower waist) things of that nature. Also what are some of the situations in which I can use it without being at fault? Such as if I come out the store and I see someone trying to break in my car, etc. Or its only lawful to use only if that person is posing a threat to me personally?

  • Girlfriend is mad because I don't post her on Facebook ?

Basically, my girlfriend is mad at me every other day because I won't post her Facebook. I explain to her plenty of times that it's not because I don't want to post her, it's just that I'm not active up there, it's just there. I don't even post myself. I can see if I was constantly active, posting casually but I'm not. I posted her on my snapchat a couple of times but she swears she doesn't remember. For whatever reason Facebook is what she really cares about for whatever reason.

This isn't a case of me cheating or hiding anything. It's just because I literally don't even be on the app like that. I really only still have it to keep up with the family. She post me all the time, it's not like I'm telling her to take it down or anything. I even put heart emojis and everything on her pics. I think she's getting influenced by other people she sees on Facebook. Its like everyday she post a quote or something in regards to someone hiding her or being a secret, and not posting their partner etc. Like why do you need social media's approval that bad? I refuse to give in to something that meaningless and small. Not one other relationship I've been in have they complained or even mention to me that not posting them was a problem. I think it's getting old and childish. And since I don't post her, in her mind I gotta be up to something or talking to someone on Facebook. Its so childish in my pov.

  • Relationship problems?

So Ive been with this girl for A couple months and at first it was cool. We are total opposites. Im very chill, laid-back,nothing much gets to me, I try to keep the peace. She just has this " I dont give a *uck " attitude, and is quickly agitated about every little thing. I know, why not leave? I have a good heart and I dont know how to break it to people. Its like that with her because I actually met and Been around her family. She keep accusing me of things I havent done, like cheating, lying etc, and I dont appreciate it at all, especially since Im actually not doing anything. Nothing worse than being blame for something you didnt do. Its every other day with her. Like Im not doing anything, might as well since youre gonna believe it anyway. The last straw was this today, just randomly calling me way before I have to get up for work, about a message she sent me on messenger 2weeks ago. I don't have msg because I need space on my phone, and I really have no use for it. She sent something that we already discuss before. So I just download the app to open it so the notification would go away on FB. She blew my phone up talking about I left her on read and and talking to someone up there. Like what? I explain just that to her and she always dismisses what I have to say and Im sick of it. Showed her my msg TL, and she's like"you deleted the msg"like wtf? I love her but my peace is more important at this point. I tell her this and it doesn't matter, same cycle. What should I do?

  • Oil change in a new car?

I have a 2020 kia rio, got it brand new around February. It's now September and I have 10,000 miles. I check the oil level every 3,000 miles but it's still full. Is this common? Should I change it anyway?

  • Do i need to change address when getting a new car?

Tomorrow I am going to the dealership to get a new car. Recently my car got wrecked. I don't plan on repairing it, and need a car immediately. I live in the same state but I live in a different city from the first time that I got a car. My license has my old address, from when I was staying with someone. I didn't pay any bills so the only proof of address would be the address on the insurance card. I plan on updating everything in March, but like I said I need a car immediately and don't have time to go to the dmv to update. I was not planning on mentioning that my address changed due to the possibility of them telling me that I have Update my license, which I don't have time for at the moment. Also the online site won't allow me too update for some reason. The thing is that on my paycheck stub it has my current address. That part of the stub is actually detachable. Should I have any trouble getting a car? Thank you kindly.

  • Question about iMessage?

I messaged one friend and the message is delivered, nothing unusual. But when I text this one individual in particular, it doesn't say delivered, read or anything, as if I'm blocked. But then I called the number to see if it sends me straight to voice mail but it rings as normal. What could be the problem?

  • Can I take legal action for this?

May 30th I had an interview at a job, and 2 days later I was told I had the job and I will get an offer letter via email. I was already notified that I had to go through a background check before I could start. During the interview I was told that training would start the second week of June. So the agency called me asking if I have received anything from the job and I have not received anything. I'm panicking as it gets closer to the date, so I contact the person who is suppose to train us via email. She stated that and offer letter / bg check will be sent soon, and the start date is pushed back to June 24. Im like OK so I still have time to receive and fill out all of the info. Time goes by and it gets closer to the date and I still haven't received an email from them. I contact the agency and they reached out to them and stated that the company was having internal issues and the date is now pushed back to July 8. I'm getting frustrated because people have bills, so I'm making arrangements around the start date. Not to mention I still have not received an offer letter/bg check. I find out the internal issue was the trainer is on vacation and won't be back until July 8, Which is why the start date is pushed back. July 28th comes around and I finally get the offer letter /bg check info to fill out. One week before the start date. If I can still start this week I am fine with that, but if they say it's too late, I'm gonna be pretty mad because that was Their fault

Option 2: 24/hr, work from home, standard work hours you can work is 5 hours a day M-F bi-weekly . Can also speak with manager for more hours if 5 isn't enough. What do you think?
