• Can anyone help me find a Red Velvet cake recipe in English measures?

I tried Red Velvet cake two years ago when I hosted a Halloween party, but I used an American Packet mix. I want to make it myself this time, but I need a recipe that uses Pounds and Ounces instead of American Cups.

  • Why aren't my USB 2.0 ports being recognised as USB 2.0?

I have two ports on the front of my PC, and when I plug my webcam into one, I have a message bubble pop up which says 'This device can perform faster if you connect it to a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port'. Problem is, they ARE USB 2.0 ports. Can anybody help me out with this problem? Many thanks.

Now that I'm older (30) they simply shake, and I have to either grip something (usually my knees), or sit on my hands until the quivering stops, which is when I settle down. Also, I occasionally say weird things, usually to myself, but sometimes other people have heard them. One of the most common is when I hear a car horn I will always without fail shout "Honk!" back at it. I've never had it diagnosed by a doctor, since my Parents never knew about Tourette's (apart from the highly parodied severe form), and neither did I. Could this be a mild form, or something else?

  • Is playing close to the net in Tennis a popular strategy?

When I play Tennis, I normally play very close to the net. While this means I have to react much faster to the ball than my opponent, it also means I can hit the ball quicker, which in turn forces my opponent to react faster too. Does anyone else adopt this strategy, and if so, does it work for them? Do any professional players use this type of play?

  • Are my new inline skates the wrong type for what I want to use them for?

I just bought a pair of Roces Chapter 322 skates for £20, since they were reduced from £100. I know they're an old model, but I don't care about fashion much. However, they ARE aggressive skates, and I plan to use them just for mild recreation. Are there any major disadvantages to using aggressive street skates for simple fun skating?
