My husband has this as a side effect of surgery to remove a rectal tumour in 2011.He has been told that the only way to get rid of it is to remove his rectum and a stoma bag for life.I cannot believe in this day and age they cannot get rid of an infection without this drastic surgery.1 AnswerInfectious Diseases6 years ago
