12x^2-11x+2 My friend told me to take factors of 24 and pick the ones that add to -11. Is that right, or should it be +11?
3x^3-6x-72x... The GCF is 3x to the what? I don't really understand that. Then how would I divide the integers by the GCF with those exponents?
25a^3+20a^2+3a... This one is just really confusing to me.
6a^2-a-15... The GCF way doesn't work. I tried grouping but I couldn't figure it out.
16x^5-44x^4+30x^3... The GCF is 2 to the what? How would I divide the integers by the GCF (basically my question from the 2nd problem)
I really need help! Thanks soooo much :)
I need a lot of help with understanding how to raise a product to a power. It's super confusing! Then simplifying it and what not...
For example, 'Simplifying Powers of Products':
What is the simplified form of the expression (32m)^1/5?
It gives me the steps but they're hard to follow.... Please help me. Just explain, I guess.
My dad is starting a landscaping company. He wants a creative name, but it needs to fit in where we live (North Carolina). Something along the lines of "Southern Landscaping". It's what he has so far. I don't like it. So any idea?. Anything is welcome. Thanks sooo much :D
Oh and please don't complain if it's in the wrong category, thanks!6 AnswersGarden & Landscape8 years ago
I have a set of data and I made a graph. I determined the line of best fit. It's asking, "use a residual plot to determine whether the line of best fit is a good model. Explain." Okay, so I don't have a graphing calculator so I need to do it on paper (obviously) but I don't know how. I guess I need steps. Please help me...
Q: Write an exponential function that models the population of a town that in 2003 was estimated to have 35,000 people that increases by 2.4% every year. Describe a reasonable way to use your function to predict future population in this town.
I need help!!! I need a function and how to use it to predict the future population...
I know f(x)=mx+b
The Question:The slope for a function representing the number of bottle caps in a shoebox where 5 are added each time.
Would 5 be (b) or (x)?... I am so confused!!! I need the equation so that I can graph it to find the slope. Or if there's a way to find the slope straight from the word problem?3 AnswersHomework Help8 years ago
