  • Volleyball overhand serve help!?!?

PLS read the whole question THANKS!!

When I first started playing volleyball at 14 I was really weak. Very, very weak. Even to serve an underhand I would need to use my full strength, and I barely made any overhands.

Now I'm 16 and I have a new problem: I am way too strong. Every time I overhand serve the ball at least 5 meters after the end lines. I simply cannot control my overhand serve.

Why is his happening? TIPS PLEASE!!?!

According to the biological definition, inorganic substances are many composed of metals and lack a carbon-hydrogen covalent bond.

CO2 is inorganic and lacks the carbon-hydrogen bond, but it does not contain metal. Why is this???? PLEASE Help!?!?

  • how to stay warm in school?

In my school we have to strictly wear uniform. We are not allowed to wear anything (ie coat or jacket) over the uniform as it would cover it, nor wear our own pants. All I have got to wear are:

    - white-collared shirt

    - navy blue pants as thin as paper (doesn't insulate at all)

    - tie

    - cardigan (again, doesn't insulate)

The school does have heaters in classrooms but remember I have to wake up at 6 and walk for like 15 minutes, plus we weren't allowed to stay indoors for recess. Its already getting close to minus, any tips PLEASE!!!

BTW I'm a guy so no tights

  • Moving light dots in vision?

I know that its the refection from white blood cells in my blood vessels that create this kind of image. Heres whats happening:

one year ago I became suddenly aware of this situation when I looked on the sky. I freaked out and thought I had an eye problem, but later learned that its normal. However, the light dots are getting more and more noticeable. Before I only saw it in the sky, but now I see it on the streets, walls, beds, etc and its very annoying.

Is there anything I can do to diminish these light dots? Please help !!!

  • feel sick after sports?

Every time I finish playing sports I feel extremely sick.

I have a bad headache, want to throw up, and feel absolutely fatigued even if I am just sitting down.

I am hydrated well. In a 3-hour basketball session I drank over 5 liters of water. I am relatively fit too. During sports I feel great but moments after I stop this horrible feeling kicks in.

What could be causing this and how should I avoid it?

  • osmosis lab PLS HELP THANKS!?

I was doing an osmosis lab with potatoes and saltwater and my results were very weird:

In pure water (0% salt) the potato's mass decreased by 11%

In 10% salt concentration the potato's mass decreased by 14%

In 20% salt concentration the potato's mass decreased by 12%

What could be the cause of this phenomenon

    And

I have to write a lab report too. What could I write about in the conclusion, where I discuss the scientific process and theoretical value where the potato has dame osmolarity as the solution?

    Please help me Thanks!!!!

Is it possible that osmosis occur between solids?

For example, if I put a wet fruit on a tissue paper for say a couple of minutes would the water diffuse into the tissue paper?

  • reverse osmosis?

I was doing a lab experiment about osmosis, where potato pieces were put into solutions of different salt concentrations. Frankly, as the salt concentration increases, the percent change of mass of potatoes decreased significantly. This is against osmosis, as theoretically we should lose water weight as concentration goes up. What could be the cause of this phenomenon?

  • Lab report inaccurate (inconsistent) results? ?

I have to write a formal bio lab report (12 pages), but I messed up the experiment and the results were totally out of place. I only get one chance for the experiment so I cannot alter any values. How do I write a lab report without a set of decent results to refer to?

    Pls help thanks!!!
