• How do Mormons hope to ever see their current families if they become gods and start their own planets when they die?

Joseph Fielding Smith Jr., Doctrines of Salvation, Vol.2, p.48: The Father has promised us that through our faithfulness we shall be blessed with the fulness of his kingdom. In other words we will have the privilege of becoming like him. To become like him we must have all the powers of godhood; thus a man and his wife when glorified will have spirit children who eventually will go on an earth like this one we are on and pass through the same kind of experiences, being subject to mortal conditions, and if faithful, then they also will receive the fulness of exaltation and partake of the same blessings. There is no end to this development; it will go on forever. We will become gods and have jurisdiction over worlds, and these worlds will be peopled by our own offspring. We will have an endless eternity for this.

There is only one problem. I REALLY can't remember the email I used for the YouTube account.. I can't possibly delete the videos. Can I still be forgiven by Heavenly Father? Can I still be baptized? Is there any hope left? The question is for LDS members. I want serious answers..

I frequently have recollections of a physically invasive ceremony that was conducted in LDS temples up until aboutbten years ago. I remember going for my first time the receive the neccesary ordinance of the washing and annointing. Basically, they toldl one to be nude under a thin sheet that with slits down the side and closed off by a strip of cloth. I remember being very uncomfortable about that. So I tried to wear my undershirt and boxers that the church commanded me to buy from them. Well... they sent me back to the chsnging rooms because I was supposed to be nude underneath. I did so because I was taught that it was God's will, being part of his perscribed ordinance. But, I felt very unconfortable and I wasnt told about this before I was brought to the temple. Next, while pronouncing symbolic resecitations on my, they stuck their hands into the large openings of my gown and touched my stomach and near my nipple. I would otherwise never have let anyone touch me in those places, but I let them because I felt I must. I did not like it at all. 15 years later, I still invasive memories of it. It was not ok. It doesnt matter what their intent was. What matters is that I felt violated and intruded upon. This was obviously an invention of man and not God. God would not make people feel violated in that way.

  • Should I let it go that my son has left the Catholic chuch and joined the Mormon chuch?

He has now even through the secret temple ceremony. I don't know how to handle this. He will not discuss any of it because it upsets his wife. I do respect that he is an adult and I trust him, it just feels weird for some reason. It's sometimes as if he doesn't know the major difference between the two faiths.

I have never been a missionary or even a missionary mother(close though -my son died shortly after his Call)Because I have missed out on some things that are culturally Mormon and others that are spiritually LDS would I have been better off not to be baptised at all? A young man today said so said the missionaries did me a disservice.
