• Help, treat Chigger bites?

Chiggers don't bite, they actually burrow into your leg. (I know, that sounds really gross) My brother had a bunch of chiggers about five years ago (he forgot to wear long pants), and putting nail polish over them worked really well. Any type of nail polish will do, but clear keeps it from looking like you have spots all over your legs. show more

I took Yasmin when I was in high school, because my dermatologist thought it would help my acne problem (which it did...leveled out hormones). I stopped for a bit, and now I use an entirely different pill through my physician (for strong and painful periods, like you said you experienced). I only stopped because my mom started freaking out about taking those kind of pills at my age, not because of side-effects I was experiencing. Normally I would say to take some time to let your body adjust to the pill (about three months). However, if you feel the side-effects are disrupting your life (which it sounds like they are), I would recommend talking with your doctor to find a different pill. There are SO many different kinds, with different doses and the like, and it is entirely possible to find one that will lessen your pain during periods, and not cause you such frustrating side-effects. Good luck!

A licensed architect has the ability to sign off (equivalent to your description of "getting the license", I suppose) on designs for small buildings (such as one- or two-story residential buildings), but most other constructions require civil and/or architectural engineers to review and sign off on the plans prior to the construction. Architects are able to design the entirety of a building's construction, provided their engineering understanding is sound, but often architectural degrees lean more toward design. It is quite common for an architect's work to be reviewed and altered by an engineer, in a collaborative effort to create an intriguing design that will be structurally sound.

Best answer: There's a really quick way to do an updo that's also really easy to fix if comes loose. However, you need those little hair claws (picture link attached) that I've been able to find at stores like Walmart and Target for farily cheap (and any color you want to choose from...either blend in with your hair, or match your outfit!). Essentially, you pull your hair back like you would for a ponytail (not at the crown of your head, but about 2 inches lower) and then start twisting your hair in one direction. As the hair become twisted, twist it into a bun around itself, but only as one layer (don't stack hair on top of itself, but spread it outward in a spiral/circle). If you have a lot of hair or it is long, place the clips periodically as you are twisting/spiraling outward to hold the hair in place, and potentially make two layers, if absolutely necessary. Since you are twisting, you only need to clip between the hair that is directly against your head and as much hair as you can fit in the little clips. Simply place one every inch or so around the bun (start with one at the top and one on each side for support as you add the rest), and don't worry about fly-aways...they usually look more casual and cute than a stiff bun! Sorry I don't have a picture to show you!
