Need a cheap vacation?

Question

Will be at Brisbane. Looking for a short vacation with my bf (about 4 - 5 days) We are thinknig of Sydney or Adelaide or Tasmania. Where would be cheaper in terms of accomodation and food and sight seeing. We will like to eat out some times and not do 100% cooking. Will stay in budget hostel or motel.

Appreciate if anybody can provide personal experience.

Cheap Vacation is yours in the planning and it can be cheap everywhere in the world if you know how and able to get used to it.
Travel in Budget pack, airplane, B/B hostel, simple local meals, choco/bread/milk (Australian products) and cheap tour/self service. When there is a way, there is a mean to get it.......just keep on trying and you will achieve in the end for your own satisfaction.
