I'm traveling to Mexico by bus ( 23 hrs long) with my husband & 18 month old. What should I take to my son?
I just need to know what to bring him to keep my son entertained!!! I've traveled with him by bus before but then he was 3 months and he slept the entire way!! Now he's just won't stay still!!! Also, he still drinks milk so how should I pack that to keep the milk cold!! Please help!! :0

take:
- the milk in the little boxes that do not need refrigeration
-water purifying tablets
-dry pedialyte (electrolyte)...powder or tablets
-plastic disposable cups
-baby tylenol, benedryl, thermometer
-hand sanitizer/hand sanitizing wipes (the wipes are great cause they can wipe up throw-up, and sanitize toilets and sinks
-try to use the cups...if you do bottles, they are harder to keep clean. may have to start transitioning now
-crackers, in small ziplock bags for freshness
-ziplock bags to put used diapers in, and dirty clothes
-for fun: paper tablet, pens, crayons, (you may say, he is too
young...but YOU can draw and he will be fascinated), books, small stuffed animals for dramatic play (make them come alive), small cars
-have fun!

My son loves taking the caps off pens and putting them back on, I'd bring a pen that has run out of ink, and let him do that for a little while. Also if you have time make a sock puppet to entertain him, bring some books to read to him/show him the pictures. Get one of those little magnadoodle things so he can draw, maybe get some connector blocks.
