I like this boy named Max. He likes me. I am going to ask him out for pizza. if he says yes and we have fun are we definitely boyfriend and girlfriend?

If I went out with a girl for pizza, I would consider it just being friends. Not boy friend/girl friend. It takes more time to get to know someone. thanks

He doesn't automatically become your boyfriend by going on a date with you. Dating is just getting to know each other and basically establishing if you'd like to keep getting to know each other better. There's no official time that you're officially a couple and it's best to not even worry about placing those labels on a relationship early on. You have to get through the early dates first, and guys have a wonderful radar that senses if you're planning your lives together too far ahead for their liking. Just enjoy the pizza and his company and forget about the labels you'd like to place on yourselves.

depends what he considers "asking out".

even if you like each other, it doesnt mean youre going out straight away. If you continue too see each other, then a relationship is forming and you can easily say your going out.

If you do decide to "go out" straight away, remember its just a status not an indicator of how much you actually like each other.

no, that's not official you guys aren't boyfriend/girlfriend yet it's just date where you guys hang out. though it can lead into dating just talk to him and tell him your feelings chances are he probably likes you back that's why he said to going with pizza with you. good luck :)
