Do you have things you really want to do before you die? A "Bucket List" ?

Question

Is it purifying your "soul"? Is it finding enlightenment? Travel to some foreign land, or world-wide? Raising your children to success? Seeing your grandchildren grow to adulthood? What is that project or goal, which might make you feel that "I'm not ready to die yet?"

I want to do everything, twice :P

I have this strong desire to know everything and to have tried everything, I also feel that once just isn't enough to be able to make an informed decision about your opinion on a particular activity :)

- I'd like to travel the world, most importantly I'd like to live as the locals live and see things how they see them, find out what is important to them and let myself be inspired by them and their stories.

- I'd like to challenge myself in as many different ways as is possible, both mentally and physically, so I'd like to try things like sky diving and bungee jumping, I'd like to hike through the rain-forests and mountains of the world, I'd like to learn martial arts and try sailing and surfing.

- I'd like to learn to be content with what I have and to no longer feel the need to strive for something more, something bigger, something better, I guess when I can look at the remainder of my bucket list and no longer need to complete it then I will know I have achieved my dreams :)

You've got a great and fine mind. Nice seeing your answer , thanks. I, too have been a junkie for new experiences. No bungee jumping or rain forest hiking, though, for me. But I've no need to finish my list, so I guess I "made it". :-)

yes.. I want to know -- to learn (it would be awesome to discover something)
I guess the main thing I want to do is fulfill my potential (so far from my potential right now) and be perfectly happy.

I won't be ready to die until I have
1) graduated from college
2) made my mark in some way (contributed something)
3) fulfill my potential(good) as a person
4) travel the world (yes I want to see each continent)
5) I don't need to bear children to be fulfilled, but it will be a great joy and bring me great satisfaction to adopt a child and see him/her grow into an adult.
