Spanish question... in colombia how do they spell "bye"?

i know they say ciao.
like the italian way

but do they spell it the italian way? ciao
or chau???


cuz in venezuela they spell it ciao
and argentina and peru they spell chau
so i dont know.. HELP!!!!

chao... thats the correct way to spell dont know where ur getting the other spellings from
