Serviced apartment for $20/night? Sorry, in Shanghai you'd be lucky to get a serviced tent for that!

- You can only get a lousy, local "hostel" for that price range. A 3-4 star hotel easily costs US$70-100 per night. The servicing in Mainland China including Shanghai is usually 1-2 star deflated as compared with other popular tourist spots. If you require "acceptable" service you better check into a 5 star.25% 1 Vote
