What's the backup plan should there be a massive black-out in Singapore F1 night race?

Well, first of all, they will definitely have multiple backups to prevent massive black-out.

So, if all their multiple back-up plans, e.g. using own generators, drawing off the city power grid and so on fails, the F1 night race will be the least of worries for the Singapore government because it would probably mean the whole island (or at least half of it) has plunged into darkness.

Not a problem because there are FIA-approved contingency plans:

1. Drivers must switch their headlights on.
2. Pit crews to be issued with a box of matches and some candles so they can see during refuelling.
3. Spectators will be provided with night-vision goggles so they can follow the race.

Race will be red flagged.
Drivers will be told over the radio that they must stop straight away. Team radios have their own power source, just in case. Drivers will know if there is a black out then they must stop.... because they cant bloody see!! haha.

In case of total blackout it is just assumed that Ferrari goes 1-2, and everyone else retires. This is all according to contract.

Also, McLaren will be blamed for the outage, penalized 300 points, and fined two billion dollars.
