Why can't pro abortion people admit abortion is murder & support a mother's abortion powers?

Face it, with ever increasing technology, we see the humanity of the unborn child. Denying the humanity is living in a dream land. I support the child's right to life over a mother's power to abort her pregnancy based on the science and technology. Camille Paglia and Ted Rall admit the humanity of the child, admit abortion is murder and support a mother's abortion powers. I like their honesty.

Eating meat is murder
killing to save your own life is murder
killing to protect someone else is murder

All of life murders

I don't see you groaning and crying about all of that.

As for humanity....it depends on how you define that. I don't think a person on lifesupport with NO brainwaves really counts as human anymore since they have no mind...a fetus has no mind..so to me is not human....until it reaches the point when it has a mind and can support it's own biology.

A fetus has the brain level of a retarded hamster from recent experiments.

In order to be living you have to be an individual. A fetus is not an individual if it still has its mother keeping it alive.

No one is pro abortion. If you really think you can change their minds by calling them murderers then you are wasting your time.

Most pro-choicers have mixed feelings about abortion anyway and want to reduce their numbers.

But that only means that they are really anti-abortion but are trying to convince themselves that "privacy" is more important

I mean, there are some who don't have any problem vacuuming out a fetus' broken skull or electrifying something that has its own genetic compostion and developing nervous system. Obama seems to believe that life begins at conception...but still supports abortion rights, because if you don't like it, your a fascist and the same as the gunmen who shoot down abortionists- I mean "doctors"

a zygote/embryo is a potential baby at best. Check the miscarriage stats.

It's really a debate on when life begins.

Nasa will say a single-celled organism on Mars is "life". Yet we shower and brush our teeth daily killing billions of bacterial cells.

So on one hand destroying cells is okay because there's a desire to do so yet when it comes to a zygote/embryo, it's sacred...even though there's no guarantee the cells will develop and the resulting baby will be carried to term.

Isn't it enough to incorporate desire of the parents? After all abortion concerns the adults as well...

    Your definition of life is?

Murder is defined as the killing of a human. If you think something three inches long, and has only rudimentary brain and cardiac system, then you need better resource access to science and technology.

I don't think Roe v. Wade could ever have occurred with our scientific knowledge today. It should be revisited on this basis alone.

Faux Man, I define human life as a fertilized egg implanted in a uterus. Yes, miscarriages occur. This is death by natural causes.

And on embryos: These are potential human life and were created as such, not as lab rats.

Logan, the laws already punish those people, what do you mean by "ignore them?"

Why can't anti-choice people admit that name-calling is not going to change a fundamental disagreement on human rights? You cannot force the pro-choice people to believe that the fetus' rights exceed the mother's, and we can't force you to admit that the opposite is true. When something's only basis is a religious opposition, the Constitution demands that it be left to the individual.

Abortion is murder and I approve of the murder when I consider who gets the abortions.

Do you really want the genes entering into the gene pool of the flawed man and woman, who would produce a child and then seek to destroy it?

I say it is merciful to the rest of the world that these people act on their instincts to eliminate their own flawed seedline.

You already know the answer but refuse to accept it. But I'll repeat it anyway: Not all religions nor all scientists agree on when life begins therefore what is murder to one person isn't murder to another. It is an issue that will never be resolved because no one can prove without a doubt when life actually begins.

No one is "pro abortion". We are Pro choice. I will always support a woman's right to make her own decisions over her body and her future. Who am I to tell her what to do?
Besides, it is LEGAL. Until the laws change, which they won't, there is nothing anyone can do about it.
So why don't you pick up the picket sign and go interfere with and harass the women who are exercising their rights and ignore the murderers who kill the doctors and the innocent while they blow up the clinics. Yeah, that sounds like the right thing to do.

    *******************
RUTH: The far right conservatives who continue to think that they should have power over the right of a woman's body and life DO ignore those who break the law terrorizing the doctor's and their clinics, let alone those who visit those clinics. They would come right out and applaud those who do this if it weren't so politically incorrect.

The thing that gets me is that Pro-Choice supporters claim it is a woman's rights issue. Well, I agree, but not for the same reasons.

Abortion is dangerous and not just to the child. It can do irreparable damage to a woman's body as well as her mind. it significantly increases your chances for certain types of cancer and infertility for starters. These are issues not really advertised, especially to younger females being talked into having an abortion.

My beef is not just with the "pro-choice" movement though. I think that the pro-life movement has a responsibility to stop spending so much money on protests, conventions and other largely ineffective movements, and start spending that money on funding facilities to care for pregnant women that feel like they are stuck. Or how about spending it on research to help women whose pregnancies may cause harm to the mother?

I'm not going to admit a lie. Murder is when one PERSON UNLAWFULLY kills another person. The fetus IS NOT YET a person and abortion IS NOT unlawful. We all know a fetus in the uterus of a human female is human. Even an idiot knows that. However, that doesn't make the fetus a person, nor does it give the fetus the right to use the woman's body against her wishes. Let's say HYPOTHETICALLY that a fetus is a person. Even IF it was, it still has NO RIGHT to use the woman's body because NOTHING and NO ONE has the right to use the body of another without their consent OR against their wishes. Therefore, the woman STILL has the right to remove the fetus via abortion.

Why do you want to control women and turn them into NOTHING MORE than walking incubators? Must you disrespect us?

Oh and it's pro-CHOICE. How would you like it if we called you anti-choice or anti-woman or pro-fetus?
